FOSTERLANG Workshop in Donostia: “Linguistic Capital and the Sustainability of European Minoritised Language Communities.”

FOSTERLANG will hold a two-day workshop focused on the linguistic capital and sustainability of European minoritised language communities.
Hosted by Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, the event will bring together researchers, language professionals, activists and community members working on language revitalisation, linguistic diversity and minoritised language technologies
The programme will include lectures, roundtables, working sessions and practical activities focused on:
Linguistic capital and community well-being
Language transmission and socialisation
Digital tools and technologies for minoritised languages.
The event includes contributions from experts working on Basque, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Kashubian, Amazigh, Slovenian, Lemko and other minoritised language communities.
Participation is free of charge and open to all ELEN member organisations, researchers, activists, community representatives and language professionals.
